Job responsibilities

  • Write applications integrating Documentum Java API and configure Documentum CMS tasks
  • Participate in developing XML transformations
  • Contribute to maintaining and managing XML schemas

  • Execute queries search with MarkLogic and XQuery
  • Act proactively to validate rules, and execute Agile development methodology tools
  • Escalate priority decisions and resolve and mitigate risks
  • Assist cross-functional efforts throughout the lifecycle of projects

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in programming with XML language (rare exceptions for exceptionally skilled developers) -Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces using XML, HTML, XHTML, and scripting languages

  • Hands-on expertise in XML XHTML schema definition and processing tools
  • Expertise in database programming and coding using XML language
  • Well-versed in the development of web-based applications using various client-side technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
  • Strong understanding of XHTML skills, including appropriate use of hooks in XHTML
  • Proficiency in Epsilon, DTD, XML Schema and knowledge of parsing tools like XMLSpy, Oxygen XML Editor
  • Understanding of complete software development lifecycles
  • Fluency in English for effective communication
  • Availability to work with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of multiple OSs (Windows, Linux) and development tools like .NET
  • Excellent communication skills and a fast learner
  • Prior experience with Agile development methodologies
